The restoration of elm groves and other riverside forests in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza seeks greater protection for aquatic ecosystems and island biodiversity. The plan has seen the planting of Dutch elm disease-resistant trees, the improvement of habitats in the Natura 2000 network, and the monitoring of their progress.
