The Island Council of Ibiza is boosting agri-environmental aid with a plan that seeks to strengthen farming activity, protect biodiversity and reduce risks such as forest fires. In four years, the scheme has doubled the area under cultivation and has seen steady growth in cropland and extensive livestock farming.
